The work was the end product of
the research project W.I[C].R.
The object is the physical
manifestation of a brief that
imbues the object with the
narrative of the circumstances that
gave birth to it’s creation.
The inspiration of the design comes
from the from the context, form of
the new-workhouse, paupers and
the placebo of the British Empire.
It will act as a future artefact that
would potentially be discovered
and tell the story of it’s time.
